Single Dental Implant
A single dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Once the implant integrates with the bone, a crown is placed on top to restore the appearance and function of the tooth.
Duration: The entire process can take about 3 to 6 months, including healing time for the implant to bond with the jawbone (osseointegration).
Visits: Typically requires 2 to 3 visits:
Initial Consultation: Assessment and planning.
Implant Placement: The surgical procedure to place the implant into the jawbone.
Crown Placement: After healing, a follow-up visit to attach the crown to the implant.
